One minute soundwalk with no narration. I started at f&s fabrics and moved south down on manning avenue. I was able to hear the wildlife without having to focus on narrating, which ruins the natural sounds around me.

The sound of a bright march morning featuring cardinals, robins announcing their territory, and wrens. The temperature was right at 50 degrees with no wind. I made this recording with my marantz pmd661 using two samson co-2 microphones. , pointed 180 degrees apart to gather as much sound as i could. The sound was sometimes a cacophony as it seemed all of the neighborhood birds were so happy that spring is finally here, many times they were all singing at once. !.

At the morning, saint-blimont, la somme, france. Recorded on 2018/11/01 at 8h24 by a rode nt4, sound devices 302 and olympus ls100. This is a good example that the rode nt4 is not a good system for quiet ambiances. High-pass (160 hz) on the sound devices, +12 db gain on pro tools.

This is a recording i made using my tascam dr-40 field recorder. Used the xy pattern, no post-processing, just some edits to cut off unwanted noise, wind puffs and stuff. It was recorded in santo andre, state of sao paulo, brazil. This sample has street sounds, with rain, people chatting (in portuguese), bird sounds, cars, bikes and airplane sounds.

We were doing a shoot for a chinese television station and i let my canon 7d pic up some sounds, edited some of the pops out and there you have it. Some bees in a meadow with some churping birds near commercial hives in the late spring. Good for ambient background sound with bees everpresent. In the fraser valley, british columbia.

Made some chicken alfredo and as i was slapping the noodles with the wooden spoon it sounded great! works for some gross effects or if someone gets slapped you can supplement your slapping noise with some moisture for some comedic value ;). Recording of a courtyard garden fountain in the abbey gardens in bury st edmunds, suffolk. Recorded early on a sunday morning to minimalism unwanted sounds of people!. Recorded using a directional shotgun microphone into a zoom h4 recorder. Wind sock and hpf have been used to reduce rumble. This particular recording was of the first fountain which has a fairly deep sound. Recorded close for a focused sound.
